I had one of those in California. They do pipe artificial engine noise in, which is a bit rubbish, but the ecoboost engine is a very good thing and has plenty of power. V8 would be nicer of course. Basically it is an excellent car in pretty much every department.
Given a few freeways and deserted roads to rag it on I found that it really will shift, and astonishingly it really handles. It was fantastic hairing up and down the twisty canyon and mountain roads.
In comparison the Camaro V6 I had for the first couple of days was a piece of shit. Pretty, but handled like a boat, far too wide, and despite its vast size you couldn't have the roof down and put suitcases in the boot at the same time.

I took it over a new but deserted mountain pass on Wednesday (and up a mountain on a side road as part of the trip) and finally got to open it up a bit and make full use of sport/semi-auto. Was an awful lot of fun (and you're easily doing double the limit without trying) but I had to stop and read the manual re: descending with an auto after seeing various warning photos of totalled cars following brake-failure at the top!
Now we're back on Oahu and have a shitheap Kia instead :(
I've been driving a 2016 Mustang Cabrio in Hawaii for the past week, it's enormous. 2.3L ecoboost engine is surprisingly rapid but sounds a bit weird - massive turbo whoosh and I'm pretty sure there's a fake noise through the speakers.
The autobox is a bit slow until you put it in sport+ and semi auto but there's not really anywhere around here to really rag it. Speed limits are painfully slow and adhered to.
Oh well, it looks cool on instagram.
