  • Okay, getting tempted by the Classic glasses. I'd go into the shop to try them on as they look like they might be a bit too Dame Edna on me. But other questions:

    • I have approx -5.75 prescription, I always go for a medium-high index lens, I don't like the thinnest, highest index one. Will the frames tolerate a thick-ish lens?
    • are they noticeably wrap around, or do they work as normal every day glasses? Not sure at the moment whether I'd want for my normal clear pair, or to acquire my first ever pair of shades. The obvious answer is one of each, I know.

Stupid question maybe but are there any issues with wearing shades such as changing light conditions, going inside etc, bearing in mind I can't just take them off and see normally. I imagine I'd always carry regular glasses too, but it'd be a totally new thing for me.

  • I use them daily now. They are amazing. Shape wise depends on what you like and shape of your face. Personally I need a 17mm bridge and they are spot on.

Frames will tolerate those lenses I reckon, I used this website to get them glazed: http://www.ciliaryblue.com/

The wrap around shape is just perfect IMO, they dont look like cycling glasses at all but work amazingly well on the bike compared to anything out there. Glazing is cheap (I guess) so you can try.

You are welcome to try/have a look.

  • Yeah I'd really like glasses that work on the bike... Definitely need to try for the shape and all. Is glazing cheap?! I've never had it done online, it's always seemed bloody expensive to me. I have fairly strong astigmatism and getting top notch eye testing and lenses really makes noticeable difference.

  • I am disappoint.

Never took you for a Saville fan.

    You've changed.
