My race is this weekend, plan at the moment is to sleep in a field near transition the night before using my wetsuit as a rollmat.

are you doing the Cotswold one?

have a few clubmates doing it (and one who flounced out a few weeks ago!)

if its cold you could just put your wetsuit on and then save time getting ready in the morning!

No, I did Cotswolds last year and although I really liked it and would highly recommend it, the one in Ely won out as it's near my parents house so they can come and cheer me/laugh at me/buy me ice cream afterwards.

Not sure I remember how to swim.

Sleeping in my wetsuit is a brilliant idea!!!!
