It does but B + W is extra. XP2 is your friend in that case.

Yeah, I cant say I've had the best experiences with them. It took them 2 months to develop one roll of 35mm B+W film. They never kept me updated with why it was taking so long and had no idea if they had charged me or not. I also don't find them professional at all.

the T&Cs are pretty terrible. no more than 5 films at once. no more than 10 in a month. hardly unlimited work...go somewhere else!

Glad someone agrees! they charged me extra for scans when I did that too, whats that all about?
For a small local business I feel like it should be more people focused and a lot more transparent

They did take ages with my B + W but are much more on the ball with C41.
-
• #12132
No more than 10 per month? Why are they peddling it as unlimited? That's kinda misleading...
-
• #12133
But so they should be. I go to asda, it costs me £2.50 the guy knows me by name, he's friendly and gets them done before I've left the store

• #12134
Which Asda is this?

Bridge of Dee, Aberdeen. thats for c41 developing i should add not B+W

I love everything about the results from transparencies. I find it totally inspiring and challenging to shoot, but it's not cheap, and dev is definitely not cheap (about £7-9 here).
One day I may make the jump, buy a scanner and do my own E6 at home and just be happy with just shooting slides (and b&w) ... but I'm not quite up for that yet.

Scanning slides is really difficult due to their very high dmax. Really need an imacon or a drum scanner....
-
• #12138
I've always found colour negatives trickier to scan than slides with the QUATO I have,
with E6 I usually have way less trouble getting the colours right. -

I'm quite partial to your kid photos and demonic dog shots, actually.
Not in a creepy way.

Thanks man, I like the variety on all the photo threads. Keep posting ya'll

I've heard this.
I used to get ok results years ago with a Nikon scanner (a dedicated film thing). Flatbeds I guess are not really up to it.

Definitely seen it IRL in that case.
Have you seen the elephant hedge?
Does that include scans? If so...
