    Weirdly today I started off feeling shit (phlegmy and slow) but built throughout the ride, was knocking our some good sprints along Embankment (chopper, I know).

    I don't think I'm pushing too hard, I know the feel of my body very well and the distance is sustainable at the pace I've been doing. I normally eat breakfast 2.5 hours after waking up with two short rides (10-15 min) and a train journey in between - this might help?

    Caved and ate a bowl of fruit at 11 - should be ok until 1 now. Fizzy water and coffee.

    Plan for Thursday is to do Swains reps fasted, this was fine last year. I do have a fair bit of fat to burn, not quite down to the muscles yet!
