  • has anyone had any issues with dehydrated cat - ours just will not drink water, even muddy puddles! the only thing we have been able to do is give her gravy when we make our own (shop bought "gravy" is high in salts etc)...

    she ends up with urine and constipation problems, which means she jumps on ya face at 3am meowing her brains off for about an hour in and out the catflap until finally, relief.

    yeah i like to share lots of cat bowel info. to anyone who will listen ;)

  • Maybe leave a tap dripping... They seem to like running water, which is understandable.

    Also, if it's thirsty, it should drink.

  • Dehydration can ruin cats' kidneys & kill them.

    It's also one of the standard cat symptoms for something else being wrong.

    You might want to see a vet.
