Is it better to stay well within that or will 54/38 function as well as anything else?

Inverse shim?
Only necessary if he uses 30.0mm clamp. A normal shim will do do fit a 31.8mm clamp to a 31.2mm tube. 0.012" brass or steel should be easy to find.

Also update on my cn*carbon track wheels (20h/24h 60mm)- I'm very happy with them. Only way they could be better would be if they were fixed/fixed but that is nitpicking.
I'll hopefully get a photo on wedenesday when I'm racing them at the league.

I bought a pair of carbon track forks a while ago from someone on here, just got around to fitting them today and having put a set of wheels on the bike (Halo Retro rims) with Vittoria Open Corsa Evo KS 23c tyres, the tyre's completely rubbing the fork, like so:
Is this a tyre issue? Wheels? Forks made only for tiny track tyres? Where can I get super skinny tyres?

Eating my way across everywhere. No change, really.

You can do it with a standard crank puller and a length of something that will fit inside the axle and provide enough resistance.
Remove crank bolt from one side, insert thing (I have a length of threaded rod) so one end is against crank bolt, insert crank puller (standard one) into crank, then push against the end of the item inside the axle using the crank puller to remove the crank.

Are swissstop green still the pad of choice for alloy rims?
I was really disappointed with my last set tbh, back to back on the same bike with Zipps/Black Prince pads vs Nemesis/SS-Green and the Green's felt almost dangerously poor.
This was out in Colorado - so big stops into hairpins in the Rockies.

I'll give the dual compounds a go. They're cheap. If only the stock pads were as good in the wet as they are in the dry.

Are PayPal purchases on Ebay automatically pay after delivery? Is there any way of finding out before you commit to buy?
Of course, I should have thought of that.
