Birmingham Bike Polo's inaugural Sabbath Brummy Sabbath single-day round robin tournament is set for August 20th!

LOCATION and ACCOMMODATION

We'll be playing at our infamous court 'The Yard' part of a college campus with concrete walls on three sides and a steel fence at one end, toilets and secure parking. We book the court out so get it all to ourselves. It's also only a 10 minute ride from city centre train stations

There will be some way of partying on the Saturday night and all are welcome to stay, we'll have floor space for everyone, just bring a sleeping bag. Then we can play pick-up and have a bbq on the Sunday. People are also welcome to stay Friday night too - just let one of us know.

REGISTRATION
Register here for the first ever SABBATH BRUMMY SABBATH! Enter your name, city, email and select your top three SABBATH team names. You'll then be filtered into teams with likeminded DEHUMANIZERS. We'll announce the teams once the tournament is full.

8 teams means 24 people in total so get registered ASAP. Only players who have paid will have a confirmed slot (you can pay as you register) If it's over-subscribed we'll have a waiting list and confirm with people one week before the tourney.

Registration fee is £10 per player which covers the cost of the court hire and the team vests. Any left overs will be spent on beers.

@everyoneelse if you've registered but not paid, we need your money by Friday 9am. So we can announce the teams. Anybody not paid up by then could lose their spot to the next person down on the waiting list.

Yo, here's the teams for August 20th. We used the team names you chose to determine your team mates, but also tried to make them as equal as possible. Let us know if we've made any mistakes with names/cities etc.

You'll each be given a team vest on arrival so we can tell you apart along with some other Birmingham goodies. The winners will take home a trophy each and the 3 MVPs (A,B and C player) will also receive an MVP trophy. On the Saturday evening we'll book out the upstairs of one of our locals who sell great beer and excellent curries too. Then we'll shepherd all those who are staying back to either my place, Kat's or Harry's.
