  • White marks on the sidewalls of my open paves, possibly a bit of fibre showing...? Time to chuck? Irritatingly I think it's because I left them on a wheel with a latex tube which deflated and remained that way for several months. Read that can kill sidewalls - any truth in that?

    Generally pissed off with paves. Lots of cuts and punctures, odd given so many swear by them.

  • Underinflation can show those criss-cross pattern, this is normal, especially with latex inner tube being more supple.

    You can still ride them, unless they look really bad like this;

  • It's a continuous line about 2mm thick around 3/4 of the tyre on one side, immediately under the green line that paves have. You can see the fabric underneath, but it doesn't look as bad as that one
