I'm 174cm so could be taller :)
I now have the Tracer 900 which is much bigger and an even nicer bike to rider but it's nowhere near as good in traffic.
As for cost, you'd probably be better off with a new one on PCP. MiYamaha (shit name) is their finance thing and offers ridiculously low rates but you need to treat it more like a rental or service fee as the final payment will be somewhere near 50% of the cost of the bike.
edit: 4.9% over 37 months. £110 a month with only £500 down or £63 a month with £1,500 down. Both with £2,600 final value payment (or swap for a new one...): http://www.yamahafinance.co.uk/motorbikes/hyper-naked/mt-07-abs/?type=&mileage=6000&deposit=1500.00&monMin=0&monMax=60&calc=

OK, so the same as me. The XRS is meant to be a bit taller, but I was wondering what a 'bit' actually relates to.
I'd rather not go the finance route at the moment. For my needs I think £2-3k is more than enough to be spending and should get me something usable.
The main pain at the moment is finding the time (and places) to look at and try bikes out. They all seem to be in West London and closed outside working hours.
Yeah I was going to have a ride of one of those but figured it's essentially an XRS with more bodywork.
How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?
TBH its mainly the cost - they're still fairly pricey.
