I wish we had hills large enough to justify buying clothing just for descending in finland :D

this is what we got

Lol.
Surely the insulated gilet would be perfect for a large part of the Finnish spring and autumn though?

I really like it too, but find it is starting to wear away a small area on the front of my bibshorts where is rubs on them. Have had to round off any hasrh edges of the zip with a bit of sandpaper to stop it happening.

I really like the aero-onesie, can I get past the mint green colour of the one in the sale?

Can anybody tell me if the sale stuff is available in store, specifically Spitalfields?
cheers

You could try calling them.

Yeah I was in there yesterday morning, they had a good range of stuff then. Might have been pillaged by now.
Got some randonee shorts, proper nice.

Did you go down a size. I'm a true 34 and wondering should I be going down to a 32?
-
• #26663
I'm a 33 in Levis and I got the shorts in 32, tried on the 30s and they were definitely too small. Rode in wearing the 32s today and they were perfect. Much better than the pair of baggy enduras that I have, less flapping thanks to the tailored fit.

You should know that the 2-way zip on the gilet has been replaced by a standard zip.

• #26666
Cheers good info, are you wearing padded shorts under them?

The pale blue one in the sale looks really Nice. Matching pt mitts in the sale too.
Fresh snow here though. So not something I need :(

I wore padded shorts (not bibs) this morning and they were perfect. Tried them on with bibs and they should be fine too (60 mile shakedown in them tomorrow for the acid test though!)

I know. Still my favourite feature of mine though.

#repaired4lyf depends on what goes wrong with your mitts. I crashed in a pair of classic mitts a few years back, went through the suede on the thumb pad and Waffa said "Nope" to a repair even though the hole was about 3mm across. My other pair has seen the stitching on the leather on the top of the thumb pad bit go; response may be similar..

The randonee shorts are one of my best purchases.
Used them for the RideLondon a couple of weeks back. 6hrs 40 on the saddle in them and comfy as anything. Didn't have any bibs or padding underneath, just some merino boxers. They are top notch for my 10 mile each-way commute. No need to change when you get to the office either as they are fairly smart looking.
I'm usually a 32 in shorts/trousers and went with the size 32 for Rapha. Fits perfectly and there is a little bit of stretch in the material for those days you eat/drink too much :-)

Picked up a training jersey yesterday (after a visit to both stores). Glad i went in as assumed I was a medium but small fitted much better, despite being tall.
Tried it out today around Richmond. Felt great even in 25c + heat.

What's better for general summer tempo riding in the UK? Climbers jersey with a base layer, aero or training jersey?

1st Rapha purchase made. Pro race cape.
Two way zips are amazing. My favourite feature of the insulated brevet gilet.
