• I sent this:

    Hi again,

I don't mean to stick my nose in but I couldn't help but notice that the frame has been relisted without any mention of the issue that it has.

This is something which is going to cause a problem for whoever ends up buying the frame - either somebody who knows how to fit the bottom bracket themself will notice when they attempt it, or any shop they take it to to have it fitted will flag it up straight away.

If you sell it to somebody without making them aware of this it might end up being very expensive for them and for you as a seller to rectify.

Here is a link which explains the problem and also shows that the right people could fix it:

This company in London could probably do it. You could link to in the listing:

    https://londoncarbonrepairs.co.uk/

I can assure you I have no ulterior motive, just trying to make sure that you as a seller, and any buyer, are informed about the condition.

    Cheers

    Tom

Hopefully doesn't come across too bad. I'm still pissed off because I have been thinking about this frame for the last couple of days.

  • That's a totally fair message. Interesting what his response will be, hard to believe he has listed it again.

  • Totally fair.

Probably should have told him that he wasted your time which you excuse him as he was ignorant. But should be too well aware now as you disabused him of his notions to waste somebody else's time again.
