Hockey doesn't involve embarrassing horses by making them walk all funny, so I reckon it's OK.
Bring on the velodrome!

Also played hockey at school with all the other kids who didn't hit puberty early and were tired of being mauled by grown men (that's NI schools for you). One of the guys who won gold on Sean Kerly's team went to the school and came back for a training session and let us rub his medal.
A mate plays for Richmond, which she describes as basically a lesbian social club. The tales of the goings-on on tour would give you the vapours.

he came back at 6 AM and has apparantly disturbed other team members upon entry, still no full story/details here. he's starting a case to win back the right to partake in the finals. I don't think he will, as the Olympic committee already appointed a replacement. lots of talk here about hypocritical judgment, with team NL's biggest sponsor being a beer brand...

"...and let us rub his medal."
euph?

Glad he got gold, or it would've been 'finger his bronze'

• #107
the 'verb' medaling might have been appropriate

a lesbian social club
can't think of many team sports that this doesn't apply to... not all clubs though.

Anyone know of anywhere to watch all of tonight's offerings in the velodrome? LMNH seem to be cutting off after the Men's Team Sprint First Round.

Streaming on the bbc?

Was hoping for a social scenario but mates house + beer + pizza will have to do.

Amazing ride! New world record!

I hate watching people being held before track races. Being held is by far the most terrifying and nerve-racking part of track racing for me.

Fuck, that was quick.

So good

Neeeeyaaaooown
At my school, it was the only way to get out of being mauled once a week playing sodding rugby.
I think it's ok to like it - there's a significant step from hockey to dressage.
