• What spec are you looking at? I've never driven a C6 but spent quite a bit of time in various C5's. As you said, the first gen is a totally silly car in the best possible way. Nothing that big should be that quick and it was a hoot.

I ended up selling one to a customer who used to run a Mondeo daily and had a TVR as his weekend car. The RS6 was bought to do the job of two cars. After using it daily to do decent mileage, he soon realised that 500-600quid a month on fuel was unsustainable and he went back to owning 2 cars again and saved money.

My uncle then went on to buy the same car and when the DRC suspension went, he put it on a set of KW coilovers to circumvent the huge cost of replacing the DRC parts needed.

  • What spec are you looking at?

Standard spec Daytona Grey C6 RS6 Avant with black leather and some choice upgrades (BOSE, DAB radio, rear camera). It has that deceptive effortless warp-speed acceleration I'm after. It doesn't seem that fast, but everything else suddenly seems to be going very slowly...

  • Sounds really nice. I completely agree. Theres no real drama to the acceleration. It gets a bit noisier but the real give away is that you catch up with things at an alarming rate and then you catch a glimpse at the speedo.

  • not considered a na 6.2l c63 estate then.?

    stage 1,2,3 supercharge upgrades, etc
