My 5000mAh pack from Portapow kept my Garmin 705 going for the 24h TT. The Garmin was fully charged at the start (and at the end) and the Portapow still had power left in it.
I wasn't using navigation, displaying the map or using much backlight (not much point as it was a marshalled TT with very few turns and I was just using the Garmin as a data logger).
Separately I've used the same power pack and GPS with navigation, displaying a map with backlight on a 600km Audax that had me on the bike for ~35h.
