Fuck.
GT gloves in the sale, and me wanting replacement leather mitts. Not sure I'll be able to resist. Does a man really need £75 mitts?
-
• #26610
yes
-
• #26612
Giro LX are leather and pretty great and (at least) £25 cheaper - but that's not a bad deal for rapha gloves
-
• #26613
maybe, but not those ones, they aren't even that nice. Giro LX are betterer.
-
• #26616
remember rapha will repair/replace them 4 lyf
-
• #26618
having not-really-that-nice mitts repaired4lyf isn't really a great selling point for me. obvs if you totally love them, then it is excellent...
-
• #26619
Don't you have a pair of LX's as well and wouldn't you say they are totally boss?
-
• #26620
LX are boss. Until the stitching comes undone.
Edit: but found them way more comfortable to the Rapha ones I tried on once.

• #26621
A wild buyer appeared!
Doh!
maybe, but not those ones, they aren't even that nice. Giro LX are betterer.
Even rapha razz berry wont keep this buyer inside.
Will hold out for the LX. Cheers.

Pretty sure either Rapha or me lost mine after I dropped them into the shop for repair last year.
But they are better then the Giro and last significantly longer in the first place.

last significantly longer in the first place.
Citation needed ...

Mine Giro were v.1 actually if I remember so you probably right.
Am now happy with the Giro Jag.
-
• #26625
Ah, fair enough, Mine are 4 years old now
(Edit: Giro LX)
Tell me about the rain gilet - Is it just the race cape, but without the arms?
