I've spent about 6 hours playing NMS now.

Won't spoil the game or the mechanics but i'm having a lot of fun. Would recommend.

Agreed. I don't want to spoil anyone's fun (the discovery is part of how awesome it is) but the way it's set up is very fluid and draws you in excellently. I would say it's worth buying a PS4 for, in the same way that Last Of Us was worth buying a PS3 for.
