do it properly through STS , cant beat an omega 2 year warranty . they may be more expensive than some, that doesn't mean they are expensive for the quality of thework they do.
I send STS a huge amount of work , not just Omega and more importantly they have done all my own Omega. I have 4 speedmasters and wouldn't give em to anyone else .
Ask BeauNidle about my speedmaster mark 2, he saw it after it had come back from STS .
