There was play in the BB even though it appeared to be all the way in. When the DS crank was removed and a BB tool was applied, the BB moved freely but the neither tightened up nor exited the shell.
@edscoble, yep, It's with Armourtex. See post #14179.
They Can't see anything wrong with the BB or the shell.

Hmm. Interesting. Armourtex have been in touch. They've run a die through it and apparently they cant see a problem. I'm wondering if torquing the pedals would demonstrate the issue. We'll see.
