  • You could loctite/epoxy the adaptor on to make it less sketchy, but it provides a road chainline, not a track one. Will work (chainline may be 2-ish mm out), but you may need to modify the position of your chainring with spacers to get a better chainline.

  • Is this the best solution to convert it to fixed or is it sketchy?

    It's still a suicide hub after you've fitted that, but it's fine for getting the chainline sorted. You'll need a rear brake to be road legal.

  • If you order it on eBay from Spnk they will ship with an epoxy that they say is good brakeless. Also how I got my self in the situation was same as you a rear spoke and rear disc. I got a new front axel from he'd and shifted the parts from the spoke to the disc with a longer axle. Gets rid of that weird qr setup on the disc.
