What time is it? Watches and horology

Mother-in-law has just given me one of her late husband's watches. I'm chuffed to bits as I have been meaning to buy one for ages. A 1989 vintage from the start of the break-up of the USSR.

Yep. I probably gave it its first wind-up in a quarter of a century. There wasn't even a crease or mark on the strap. I'll see how good its time keeping is when I get home tonight.

Got a Bond Zulu and @31trum (JPW) suede strap to go on it too but wearing the bracelet for now. Will probably switch to the suede when I go to Japan on my honeymoon a couple of days after the wedding

I feel you so bad on the Skin Diver. Something dressy is next on my list though.
