(SOLD) Preuss Columbus SL 54cm complete

Selling a Preuss Columbus SL D’Lhomme 54cm complete bike. It’s a beautifully made, very lightweight racer from the French frame builders Preuss and has obviously been well looked after in its time as there are only a few very minor scratches to paint work and no dents.

Mavic wheels (Continental Grandprix 4000 tyre on back, Hutchinson Equinox on front, both show very little wear)
Shimano 105 groupset (with a biopace 52 crank)

Is that a Cinelli 2A in a french steerer?
If it is, I might be tempted to sell it separately - it doesn't seeeem to fit that steerer and they're usually worth a fair chunk of money on their own.
You can get French-fitting (22.0 as opposed to 22.2mm steerer diameter) fairly easily from ebay / Velo Orange, etc.

There's one guy PM'ing with interest but if that doesn't work out I'll give you a shout second.

Yeah just done a bit of research and it is a 2A. Will look into the fit, thanks for the tip, appreciate it!

maybe also check what bars they are... if they're vintage pistas then they're also worth a small fortune : )
