i'm nearly done with my first playthrough of divinity.
having to read and re-read EVERY bit of dialogue / random expositional book / bit of paper to maybe get a vague hint as to what to do next has been a fucking ordeal. I don't like having to resort to google to get answers, it's cheating - but there's just no way I have the patience to search 400 square kilometers of map to find a 2x2 pixel button that opens a door in a dungeon on the other side of the planet.
the combat is great. i'll still play the sequel. if it ever comes out for mac.
