Sold.
Apologies, this is a long way from a minimal fixed, but I know there's a fair few of you who appreciate the vintage metal. I'm the 2nd owner of this Nottingham made bike, which as you can see is pretty much bike shop condition, spent way too much time indoors and not outside, decals immaculate. I simply don't use it enough, so it's got to go.
I recently replaced the Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Trigger, as original was showing wear on trigger. Gears indexed last week at my local bike shop, so runs smooth.
Everything is original apart from the new 3 Speed Trigger ( which I replaced with the exact same model anyway ). Parts are mostly Raleigh with front and rear Sturmey Archer hubs ( 1982 ) and a Brooks saddle, it's pretty much I guess 100% English / Nottingham made, apart from inner tubes maybe.
Size:
Seat Tube ( ctc ): 57 cm
Top Tube ( ctc ): 55 cm
Standover height ( or distance from ground, to top of top bar ): 81.5 cm
The only thing I'd advise doing is replacing the tires, the front at least, as the rubber is showing its age. I planned to fit Cream Schwalbe Delta Cruisers ( 26" x 1 3/8" ), only £11.68 from Amazon. Other than that, it's perfect.
£85
( Bexleyheath based, may deliver SE London if you cover petrol, but best you try it out first anyway ).
