Thanks. I guess if Fred's been doing it since 2013, and with the x-lights, I'll give it a shot.

I tried mine tubeless after numerous punctures with tubes and they still punctured and didn't seal (stans sealant). Switched over to G ones and noticed little difference in ride quality and no punctures...

so good!

Well they didn't blow up,
but he's had to put tons of sealant in them,
and go for a higher pressure than with tubes. -

I'm finding swapping tyres from tubeless knobblies to the Hetres with inner tubes is a pain in the arse. I was thinking about just bitting the bullet and building a second set of wheels, but really don't want to.

I've just ordered a pair of 27.5x2.0 Scwhable Land Cruiser Plus's for slightly more rugged touring in Wales. £13.99 at chain reaction at the moment.

He he. First ride today. There's a combination of things that might make this my favourite bike and 650b's are one of them.
I have gravel kings in 700x32mm and 27.5x1.75". These ones have a slick middle strip with light tread on the shoulders whereas the 700's have two slick shoulders with tread in the middle (which makes no sense to me). Having tried Tarmac, dirt, gravel, trail and cobbles I really rate these gravel kings.

That look super fun, look like you fit a mudguard over the brake!
-
• #416
That's just the camera angle, there's plenty of room in there for guards. Maybe not with a bigger tyre though.
