That 'low gear option' comes with a 38t front! Question for me is does he actually use 38x10!
True, the larger chainring is a few extra grams too.
You wouldn't think he'd carry the extra weight for nothing.
I reckon he's probably got the strength to move that 109" gear. I hear he's quite good :-)
