Apart from the Scovilles, this probably also has a good few ugliness units:
It does make you wonder if it's really safe to sell.

I've also been using the ChefShef's chilli sauces, made in Wood Green. Three for £5 at Lajpur Foods in Cazenove Road. There are probably better sauces around, but the Sahara Hot Sauce is a very nice (and not very hot) all-purpose sauce. The Peri-Peri and BBQ sauces are all right, too.

I was shitting through the eye of a needle for three days after consuming a tiny bit of my habanero sauce... Have had to take a week off chilli, the fear is real... 😬
The green one is lovely, my gf is addicted... Gave her parents a bottle and her dad has it on everything...
On a side note, my sphincter is tightening at the mere mention of habaneros... 😭

• #157
Srsly...

Yeah. I'm not taking the blame for luggage leaked habanero sauce in your grundies resulting in additional sphincter issues.

Anyone been to Hop Burns and Black on East Dulwich rd? They have an amazing if expensive selection of sauces there, really hasn't helped me with my tendency to slap hot sauce on everything I consume though. The reaper sauce is delicious, hot and running low. They also usually have actually hot crisps, pork scratchings and stuff like that.
Properly excited about tescos selling reapers too. Gonna go stock up asap! -

20 habanero chillies
20 red devil chillies
1 red onion
2 heads of garlic
2 tbsps honey
2 tbsps brown sugar
2 tbsps soy sauce
Canola oil, enough to get the consistency you want...
Salt and pepper to tasteWhizz it up in a high powered blender for two minutes or until very smooth...
Ensure there are no obstructions between you and the bathroom...

Ay carumba!

I mainly go in there for beer but I am addicted to the ghost chilli pork scratchings
-
• #163
Haven't tried them yet as pork scratchings really aren't the healthiest choice but maybe I can make an exception.
Can confirm though, the beer there is superb. It's a bit expensive to go regularly but the odd beer to drink in is a pleasure when I can. -

I normally buy the Burning Desire Burning Temptations Chipotle Hot Sauce in there, it's great on everything
-
• #165
Any chance you could list the quantities for the green one too? Looks/sounds delicious.

These are also awesome

Whacked a bunch of chillies into a ginger beer I brewed a few weeks ago. Finally tried some - works really well! That extra heat at the end makes me guzzle it far too quickly though...

Just bought some Reapers from Tesco.
I'm a big chilli fan, but are these going to wreck my sphincter?

I've had nothing stronger than the occasional splash of sriracha since the unfortunate incident with the habanero sauce...
I've got the fear...

I ate a couple of whole BBQd scotch bonnets whilst camping last summer.. won't do that again!!
-
• #173
Yes, yes they will. Probably be tasty whilst eating them though.

Felt like I had a whole packet of stale donuts stuffed up my jacksie for a week... Not the best feels... 🚫💩

I've grown some chillis at home, and I thought the best way to make them last would be to make chilli oil. however, reading this http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/homemade_chilli_oil_54985 it suggests the oil will only keep for a week. does anyone know if I don't heat the oil then will it last longer?
They are really tasty chilli's. I had some about a year ago and I really liked them. Only had red ones though.
