Its a cracking watch for the money but that date window is a big deal for me. The number is quite deep below the dial so you can barely read it in most lighting situations. That and it seems to be at a weird point betweeen the 4 and 5.
One other complaint is that the hands are too slender and silver to be easily legible but I suspect that is the case for most watches of this style. Things get pretty crowded when you have silver numbering, hands and plenty of subdials.
Well that went much better than expected.
Quick squirt of WD40 and it ticks like a bomb.
