Anyway, I half expect the rumoured old bar to be something like this on the next MacBooks, but then Apple always disappoints so prob not.

Haha! yeah... I use it for photos that have been developed and scanned... Might ask the lab if I can send a usb stick with the film next time.
It would be utterly bananas if Apple did something with that leap motion thing but I expect it will just be a fancy F-row that doubles as an application-specific tool bar, or to just show the Siri animation... If the horribly under-powered GPU they inevitably give it can handle it, that is.

Cool. I'll do it. I was reluctant to lose the optical drive but you can still use it externally with a sata to usb cable.
