  • good news, everybody!

    chortle.co.uk/news/2016/08/01/25437/brexit_scuppers_mrs_browns_boys_dmovie_2

i guarantee you that everyone who willingly watches this toss voted brexit aicmfp

That is Ed Balls, isn't it?

  • Brendan O'Carroll is from Finglas, Dublin, in the Republic.

  • Ah right, I thought he was from NI, tx.

    Very popular over here.
[an in voting mate of mine gave me the DVD it's very...ehh...basic humour]

  • My Granny loves that show, and she's a saint (as well as a massive racist).

  • I've never understood the racist nanna vote.

If we kick out all of the immigrants, who are they going to moan about on the bus?

    Apart from the Irish.

    And the Scottish

    And the Welsh

And those people from the next village over.

  • The rain? Bus being late? So many options... :P

  • Her biggest complaint as far as I can tell is that she can't properly eavesdrop on their bus conversations.

  • You should tell her it's a fucking liberty

  • The utter disintegration of the various interests who brought this dangerous farce into being continues:

    http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/aug/03/ukip-leadership-steven-woolfe-excluded-from-ballot

  • like two babies fighting over a dirty nappy.

woolfe is a drink driving fascist cunt.

  • What a confusing article.

    Late application:

Ukip is set for civil war after former leadership favourite Steven Woolfe was banned from standing because of his late application

    Caused by a coup?

Banks has blamed a coup led by those close to Douglas Carswell, the Ukip MP and critic of Farage, and Neil Hamilton, the former Conservative MP.

    Woolfe not giving up:

Woolfe himself may be prepared to launch a legal challenge.

    But giving up:

Woolfe said he was extremely disappointed to be excluded but appeared to concede defeat, as he wished the other candidates well.

  • Guardian in throwing together a confusing, badly written article shocker

  • I think they may be exaggerating however. When the economy collapses there will be lots of British people willing to pick fruit and veg.

  • while cash in the attic is on? not bloody likely m8.

  • Cash in attics will be something parents will tell children about. There will be no cash in attics. No attics even. Only cabbage fields.

  • cash in the cabbage? sounds catchy.

  • 16h per week, between May and Sep, £50k

  • Tcha there's a conflict between seasonal work as it is now (poorly paid, not suited for families, no security at all rather) and cheap food.

    Take your pick consumers.

In The Netherlands we've had immigrants picking fruit for ages. There's something that makes these jobs unsuitable for many people [ignoring the chronically lazy]

  • Tcha there's a conflict between seasonal work as it is now (poorly paid, not suited for families, no security at all rather) and cheap food.

I don't understand. You mean a conflict between improving seasonal work and cheap food?

  • Yep, a conflict between cheap food and cheap labour :)

See also the USA...and erm, probably everywhere.

  • Would that not be a harmony, the conflict is between cheap food and well paid labour.

  • On Sunday we left North Yorkshire and proceeded towards the Rhubarb Triangle which sadly has shrunk from 30 sq miles to just 9 sq miles in recent times.. im sure there is a brexit joke there somewhere.

But i fear that food quality will go down, while food prices rise in the coming years.

  • I don't think I can deal with food quality in the UK dropping any further.
