they are domed, so when you bash 'em in they flatten and stay in (in theory)

as with 90% of Astons, you get to the interior photo and want to punch the first owner in the head

I could live with that one, It's the people who chose pale blue or "iron ore" that depress me. So many nice cars ruined by a pub interior.

Same volume maker in the french and italian markets but would stretch to Lancia.
Also some elans had the chasis changed at 2 years old due to structural rust.
Nave never driven a brand new fulvia nor Alpina but the ones i have owned have been sublime handling cars. Steer with finger tips and amazingly balanced beautifully handing cars, even on very old plasticy tyres

The rubbers last about 18 months and then there there are differing scholls of thought over which one of the original or two? possible arrangements are best there are pros and cons.
Sud's (or sprints) came with four possible engines 1.2, 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7 and varriable single carb, twin carb and the 1.7 had 16v and were carried on in to the 33 and the arna/cherryeuropa and those handled really well too.

If you fancy owning something with Hefty heritage then this 911 Turbo had my name on the V5 about 5 years ago.
I think I paid £13k, painted it, made it run properly and sold it for £25k, which felt like a right result at the time. It's only done about 2,000 miles since then and they're estimating £48-62k.
Shouldn't have sold it, of course. It was even born the same month as me. :(
I hope they've rebuilt the box since I had it though. Had a dicky synchro on first. And since first runs to about 50mph you do use it a surprising amount.

There's a 900 turbo in black that lives in the next village to me - the owner drives it to the station every day. Beautiful

Thoughts on an Audi B7 A4 avant 2.0T Quattro manual with 130,000 klms and full service history... what would be the major costs to expect? I'm thinking turbo, suspension and various quattro bits will need doing. Have been offered on for $15000 AUD. Seems fair? Anyone with experience with this vintage of Audi?

You'd probably be breaking the law, and noisily inviting police attention. For a vehicle first used on or after 1 August 1973, a sound emitted by the horn must be a constant note and continuous or uniform.
Oh god, his garage!
