They do leg length but they don't do tapering. In my experience their tailoring is hit and miss anyway, I've had jeans back with the hem not stitched properly. It would save you a bit of money to get Uniqlo to shorten and then a different tailor to taper, but I just think it's easier to get one tailor to do both things.

the bigger the Urban Outfitters the more brands they have in stock. I went to a smaller one and they only had own brand everything, it was rubbish.

I just use the one in my local dry cleaners, I find them to be pretty decent.

Yes, the red thing is not the bolt head, it's just a cap. You should be able to unscrew it leaving behind a proper bolt that takes a larger allen key.

Have you considered Hiut Denim? £135+, but made by actual people in Wales. They do repairs, so they might do alterations or custom.

There's a possibly stuck BB (I didn't abuse it so far before understanding what it was) in the eccentric part of a current project tandem...
I managed to remove (wasn't easy, must have been fitted dry many years ago) the 2 lockrings (no reverse thread on non drive side) but I can not tell how it's inserted. It seems like there's no thread inside, like if it was a push fit (maybe like some Mavic BBs).
What is it and how do I take it out please?

H&M make cheap trousers for small, slimmer shorter people. Stretchy enough to ride in all the time. The size 28 trousers work well and is 29" inseam. Fifteen notes and disposable. Made with childrens tears.

how can I safely dispose of an old laptop? It broke, so I can't turn it on and check all the data is wiped. I don't want to give it to the council without all the data being wiped, but equally battering it with a hammer, would mean presumably it can't be recycled.

It will need holes drilled in the four corners to attach it to the wall, and I am guessing that, although I have the relevant bits, trying to drill through this with my battery powered electric drill is going to be a futile and frustrating exercise? Has anyone drilled through aluminium sheet like this before with relative ease? If not, can anyone recommend somewhere friendly in North/East London that has a drill press and that wouldn't mind doing it for me one Saturday?

If it's alu it should be much easier than you think. I may be shot down for the idea, but don't discount brute force - using a large nail and hammer, onto a piece of wood underneath, depending on the thickness and your strength.

Edit: 1.5mm ... you can probably make the hole with your teeth.

Yeah, I was thinking about punching a hole through it initially, and then using the drill to bore out the hole, then use some files to smooth out the edges.
