Well, not too far from that. My parents are currently in Bormio and said it snowed yesterday. It sure isn't hot.

When I went over Bormio early last September, there was already snow that had been there a few weeks.

They're on the cusp of first flurries, but should get by without passing through snow (though it will be cold up there).

Guy on the left had better be quick, Hippy as a devious look in his eyes.

I would probably ride overnight and rest during the day to not compromise quality of resting hours due to cold.. plenty of stars in the sky up there at night

Back at the checkpoint, I think an erroneous reading threw him up the side of the mountain.

Guy on the left is Ultan Coyle came 2nd when Hippy won the 24hr nat champs. He is also the guy who rode last years TCR on a full TT rig and I think finished 4th.

Also Hippy's tracker looks like it was playing up, he's now listed as being back at the control.

Edit... beaten to it... twice.

Hippy is going to melt a glacier trying to cool his fat arse and chafed perineum.

Not many glaciers left in the Alps these days.

George Marshall (#210) is the same George Marshall that finished 5th in the Mersey Roads 24h TT last weekend with 498.17 miles.
