So after calling PBK every day since initiating the warranty request/return, they've just sent me an email instructing me to package and post the frame back to them so they can have a look at it.
Apparently they'll then spend an unknown amount of time deciding whether it's a successful warranty claim and I'll have to wait a further 30 days after they've decided on it before I'll get a new frame and get reimbursed for postage.
This feels a bit ridiculous. Should I expect/ask them to pay for stripping and rebuilding my 6 month old broken frame?
You should ask but they'll be under no obligation to. Hopefully they or Kinesis will offer some sort of goodwill gesture if they accept responsibility. Perhaps a deal with a local Kinesis supplying shop?
