Well that was all a bit anti climatic. A very flat easy going course, box hill was underwhelmingly easy... I don't know what all the fuss is about! Leith hill was a killer though I must admit :-)
I didn't notice any other single gear/fixed riders out there?! There was a guy on a Boris bike though which I was quite impressed by.
My target time was 8 hours, managed it in just over 6 and a half, with up to an hour of that waiting for accidents and other slowdowns.
Bigger gear next time.
