We have an original 60s Kenwood chef with the grinder bits. Never used them but you're welcome to give it a go.

I've got the attachment for our Kenwood and it's pretty darn good, nearly everything's metal and fairly easy to clean, gets used for grinding pork for polpette and chicken/prawns for wontons. I was worried the food mixer wouldn't have the torque but it makes mince meat of it.

Thanks for the replies, looks like I'll have to wait until I've got enough counter top space to get a big multi talented mixer, with a kinder attachment....
