I managed 5:00 dead, with a couple of stops. Pleased enough with that, I'm not much of a distance cyclist and my surly with sturdy commuter tyres weighs twice as much as the carbon über-bikes zipping about.
I'll echo the comment above, it was surreal to be left for dead on the straights.. But have everyone around me fall to pieces on the hills. I thought the aero thing was all fashion, but it makes you zoom on these sort of rides .. Must knock up some cardboard fairings for my wheels !
