In other news Morzine didn't break my Slackline - or me.

Just your pedal/s.

Nothing some zip-ties can't fix

Gotta be able to get it ordered through Evans innit. Despite telling him to roll through SBC or Soho, the guy just keeps coming back.
I've stared at nearly every high end frame and frankly, they all seem to have copied each other this year to a good margin. Down to the cable routing. -

Weird

Yup. Might try persuading him to go for an Fsi. How's your one doing?

Pretty good now - 2.25 Nobby nic on the front makes for a grin inducing ride.

It was a good trip then? What were the highlights?

The thing is your bike can roll most standard gap jumps, so....

The panoramic run on the Chatel side is most excellent fun.
Otherwise: charitable weather + hot tub
Pedal exiting crank arm on the final run home through morzine town was lelz. Have an excuse to get some Hope cranks now.

There's only one crank option for a big brute like you.

I snap those for breakfast

How about the Open One+? 900g,full internal, matte black.
I've met a couple of people who race the predecessor (not plus or boost) and like it/do well.

Where do you stay in Chatel Howard? Hot tub is interesting...

Anyone on here use wide bars (well, wider than xc width)? I'm having problems with my current set. When stood up and going for it they work great, but sat in my wrists are getting pretty uncomfortable with the bent-in angle. Anybody had similar? Which bars did/do you use to relieve it, and is there anything else that can be done? Cheers.

Alright LHL, Have you tried moving seat back a tad? I'm longer in the body than leg so having seat set back to extend & straighten reach to my gibbon-width bars works OK.

I actually found going wider made my wrists/hands more comfortable ( going from 710mm to 750/785mm ), as pushing my elbows out helped my wrist return to a more natural position.
Some people just never get on with 'normal' limited sweep bars though. You could always try some Ergon grips?

Is anyone doing Ard Rock at t'weekend?
I may have space in the car from London.

Including rims, bars, seatpost and stem?
Probably the only way that I'll ever get any air.
