Bought this a while back but never got round to building it up... now I finally have, I found it's not a 56cm as sold but a 59cm. Annoying!
Anyway, it's a F. Moser Giro from the late 80s. The paint is in generally pretty good nick, as is the chrome on the stays and forks. The forks are engraved with the 51.151 used on many of his bikes to commemorate his hour record in 1984. There are a few nicks around the BB, and a superficial but long series of scratches on the TT (see pics).
It's made from Oria CSS52 steel and is fairly light at 3kg (F + F + headset).
BB threads are Italian and look to be in good condition (note: I didn't actually build this frame up due to the size so didn't get a BB - as far as I know the above is true). Seatpost is 27.2mm.
Comes with Shimano STX headset which needs regreasing.
Size:
TT CTC: 575mm
ST CTC: 590mm
ST CTT: 605mm
Fitzrovia cycles were selling one of these a little while ago for £350, so does £230£210 sound reasonable?
Collection from Old St preferred, or happy to post at cost.
