I have a meat mixer. It's massive an noisy and a bit of a pain to clean. But I think that's the best bet if you need to mince meat at home. I use it for making salami.
The small ones are no good and the hand ones are a pain in the arse.
For burgers the best is just to ask your butcher to mince it.

This one does the job. But it is large and loud. And some bits are made of plastic which I would rather they were something more sturdy

Anyone know of a good but small mincer, was flicking through the byron cookbook and thought about making my own burgers, seems you need to mince the near yourself for best results. So anyone seen one which isn't part of a mixer, preferably not hand powered...
