I've moved from the 60s to the 70s replacing my lenco l75 with a Rega planar 3 with original sme arm. Really different sounds but first foray into mc carts (high output dynavector) is a revelation, which is unfortunate, as theyre so expensive and you can't replace the stylus.
Denon's DL110 is another cracker of a high OP MC cartridge. I used one in a Technics SL1210, superb match. Runs happily into MM phono stage too, no sut required.
