Thanks appreciate it. Neck and body are home built, started with planks a few months back :)
I've not seen those saddles, clever, thanks. It's only a very slight issue, but the shape of the saddles on my Wilkinson isn't quite right and they would solve the problem.

This Tele talk makes me realise I need a proper Tele... My Deluxe is in at Tym's for its settled-down-tweak after they made it playable again a few months back... This new gig I'm doing sounds wrong with P90s or humbuckers, the Tokai Strat sounded pretty ace but you can't play a Strat onstage, amiright? And my Tele has humbuckers, not even a real Tele, bruv...
Next purchase... Probably... It'll have to be a Thinline, so probably pricey...
Also... That mini Strat I picked up is the perfect Tour de France couch guitar, $75 well spent...

Anyone interested in buying my Godin 5th Avenue P90 or my Bigsby B70 trem system? Since I got my Jaguar I am playing nothing else.

Very you, not my thing tho'... I want one of these...
My mate Kim's got one, 1969... He's changed the pickguard, tortoiseshell now... Nowhere near as nice... Those old Fender pearloid scratchplates are well brittle... Another mate had to replace the one on his '72 Thinline... Tragic...

Awesome. Nice and clean.
I had one of the first Black Machine guitars and it looked almost identical to that. Something great about a naked tele shape.

Nice work here, would love to fit some Dunlop knobs on my strat.

Rehearsing with my Strat through an AC15 tonight... Total bus pass rig... 👺

There's a Rose Morris "Dulcet" classical in my local charity shop. They seem to go for fuck all most places but it def has a solid top, sides look good, nice finish and the action looks decent. Worth a look at £40?

Buy it...

^^pretty much. I'll see if I can get home in time to give it a go tonight. It looks in good nick. Bridge looks solid etc.

I've grown to hate my Cry Baby, just bought a DOD 440 off an Aussie Facebook group for $100...

Question for you guys and gals...
I'm gonna be in London in two weeks and I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy a pedaltrain with a soft case but what size? My Joyo is about the right size for this lot, got a DOD 440 coming and that B*******r delay is gonna be replaced by a Boss RE-20 when it finally turns up...
Who stocks them in London? Gonna need brackets for a PSU and I'm thinking about getting in/out sockets either side of the board... Anyone got a mate on Denmark Street? I know a guy at Regent Sound but they don't stock them there... I think the Classic 2 will be perfect for my needs...

No idea on the pedaltrain unfortunately, but I'd be interested in how it works out - my pedal addiction is getting out of control and I need somewhere to store 'em.
If anyone's flogging a largeish (50w-100w) Fender amp, pref with spring verb, let me know - I'm after something big and cleanish for the trash surf band. Things are afoot.

^^mate, nobody stocks anything anymore! Order from Germany while you're here?

It was good to see you guys too man. See you in fortnight!

• #4247
You will!
If there are any Saints fans out there Tym has gone and did a pedal with the legendary Ed Kuepper... It's an exact clone of Ed's super early MXR Distortion + that was used on the first Saints LP... AU$400... The higher price point means there are still a few available, I'm amazed they haven't all gone TBH... I'd be all over it if I hadn't spunked all my cash already...

In other silly news, I've just ordered two sheets of these old decals from an old mate in the US so I can do...
This... Possibly...

very fucking cool

Yep, awesome, do it. Although I have a phobia of sticky things near my guitars...
@christianSpaceman That bound black Tele looks really lovely... where did the body come from? Not a total home build Shirley?
My (theoretical) fave saddles at the mo are by Marc Rutter, he gets compensation from straight saddles. Clever. http://ruttersguitars.com/Hot_Rod_Parts.html
