Are you using a surge protector?

Thanks. Yeah the mech is a long cage deore mtb one. So do I presume that the only solution is to use a smaller cassette?

Anyone know if there's somewhere you can buy the stickers for a salsa stem? Thinking of stripping the paint on mine

Have you tried Salsa themselves? I contacted Pashley a while ago for 1990s decals and they sent me everything for free. You never know.
I don't know but if you investigate this you might find something.

Driving in Asturias today (tiny road between Poncebos and Tresviso in the Picos de Europa), there was a serious climb with writing on the road.
However, the writing said 'Coppi' and 'Kas'. I'm pretty sure it can't be from the late 1950s, so when was that climb used and why would they have written that?

I have found part of the answer, it was used at last year's Vuelta, when Purito won with an attack.

You're out with your mates for the first time in months, your girlfriend calls saying she's having a panic attack, you reluctantly go home to see her, the question is, do you go back out and finish off the good time you were having, with the mates you never see?

Panic attack isn't a small thing.

Can a '11 speed' 105 rear derailleur be used in combination with a 9 speed Shimano Sora drivetrain/shifters?
It's all about the pull of the shifters, right? Can't seem to get the derailleur properly adjusted.

What kind of price would/should a framebuilder charge to braze mudguard mounts onto my rear dropouts? And what about a disc tab and requisite stay brace?

I haven't looked for a few years, but a lot of them used to spec out all of their services on their websites.

I'm guessing about $20-$40 for a set of fender braze-ons.

It cannot be use as you quite rightly point out, the cable pull is different on the 11 speed and the 4700 Tiagra derailleur.

No, just plugged into a four way adapter.

Bummer. Thanks.
I thought the shifter was the deciding component and just pulled the derailleur the correct amount, but I guess the design is different.

I've got a broken Specialized Toupe saddle that I like and would rather fix immediately than wait for delivery on a new unit. It's the expert version with a 'carbon-reinforced' plastic hull that's snapped on the right hand side of the cutaway. If I repair it, will it last? And how am I best doing it; slather with Gorilla Glue or try and reinforce/splint it with something?

Strange computer problem.
I have a laptop with two identical monitors connected. One via HDMI, one via VGA. The VGA monitor flickers, not badly but enough to make it unusable for work. I've swapped monitors, leads, power packs, etc and nothing fixes this.
What does fix it is unplugging the laptop from the mains. This isn't that convenient though. Any other solution for this? Cheers
