    Yes. Ti screws love to chew up if you apply any torque, even more so when they are using undersized tooling. Stick to steel, preferably Torx, and use tugs. No amount of weight saving is worth it if your tyre gets shoved up against the NDS chainstay by your starting effort.

  • Ah lame - no Ti bolts then. Still no chaintubs though, I've had 4 different wear wheels using the same system and none have ever slipped without tugs.
