Alas...
This has probably been asked a thousand times but what alternatives do we have when looking for an affordable 135mm spaced, disc compatible steel frame that easily takes 35's?
Everything seams overpriced in comparison to On One i.e. Cotic roadrat All city macho man disc

Omnium CXC -> http://omniumcargo.dk/omnium-one-and-cxc/
edit: ok fork a bit short for " easily takes 35's". More like just takes 35's
editedit: There is a variant fork with more clearance.

Good call @svendhöek, thanks.
Edit: Yeah they do offer a different fork option but I still would rather get a pompetamine though. Big fan of the wishbone stay, compact geo and the fact that it's cheap. I found a brand new All-City Macho Man disc fork, lucked out on ebay and got if for a good price. If I can't get a 2nd hand On One and the insurance company coughs up some money I might get the CXC with the tight clearance fork & use the All-City one in the winter with fenders.

Mine's never seen England. Born in LA, now in NY.

Only fits two of your requirements, but would a kaffenback be a decent compromise?

Thinking I might sell my pompino on, been using the other bikes so not ridden it in months and just kinda gone off it a bit.

It's definitely an option. A few guys from Fista have build up Kaffenbacks as touring bikes and they as pretty satisfied. We'll see. I bought a steel GT frame off here like half a year ago that easily fits 32's. I'm thinking of chopping off the 1 inch headtube, replacing it with a 1 1/8 one and retrofitting some disc tabs onto it. It could end up being the cheapest & raddest option. No stress though as winter is far far away.

What's the widest mudguards that fit on a Pompino? Wishbone not the latest one. Looking at the 45mm Velo Orange aluminium ones but not sure if they'll fit.

I have 50mm GB on mine (V2). Think you'd struggle to fit anything bigger.

Cheers, that's what I wanted to hear

If anyone has a medium pompino or pompetamine frame kicking about I might take it off your hands.

Finally got around to taking pix of mine, now that I don't want it any more :-) Lovely tarmac -and-tow-path build, but all my other bikes have migrated in that direction and I need the space
Apologies
