right guys, this is next Saturday. They have said that the court will be in the same spot as last year, for those of you that have been before.
They have asked that we play 9-4, and play some games on Bromptons at 11.00 and 14.00
As I mentioned before, I won't be around for this, so it would be really good if someone could volunteer themselves to be the main point of contact on the day, to chat to the organisers and caral players etc. Happy to pay extra cash to whoever does this for the day.
The list of people who ahve said they are planning on going is:
More people are welcome to come along too, let me know if you do.

Yeah, I can do that Woody.
-
• #12
Thanks Emmet, I have passed on your details to the organisers
-
• #13
Can now make it. See you Saturday.
-
• #14
In! But going to show up at 10 if that's okay?
-
• #16
In front of St. Paul's. Come play!
-
• #17
Woody said previously the event is from 9-4, do you want us to arrive a little earlier than 9?
-
• #18
Yeah what time to arrive. I was gonna aim for 8.50ish to help set up a bit.
-
• #19
In previous years I believe they set up the court. So we just have to be there for 9. But knowing how punctual we normally all are, probably best to aim for a little earlier
-
• #20
Also whoo to Joshy!
-
• #21
Cheers Em, I'm gonna head for a hike instead, but see you the week after..
-
• #22
9:30 is probably the earliest I can get there as I needz to get to da post office in the morning. Will try my best for before.

Word x 2
So guys, let's try and use this as an opportunity to get some new players interested in the game!
I am making some flyers, but it would be good if people can make a special effort to be trying to get people on the court.
So if you can, bring spare mallets flat pedals etc...
Also for those who have them, I reckon it would be a good time to bust out the LPC jerseys.See (most of) you at 9 x

Last time we did this we collected a bunch of email addresses but never really followed up anything, we should try and do the same again.
This info is already on the lhbpa thread, but I thought I would open it up to ensure we have enough players.
It is that time of year again- we have been asked to provide some spectacular polo at RideLondon on Saturday 30 July.
They will provide the court, and the event runs 09:00-16:00. We normally play some games and then invite people to have a go and a bit of workshopping. They have also asked if we can play a bit of polo on Bromptons to please the sponsors.
Is anyone interested in doing this? They are paying us, so we can pay £50 for anyone (max 12) that plays for a chunk of time day, £75 for someone who is happy to be there all day and act as main point of contact on the day (I won't be there), or the money can be used to buy food and beer.
Please let me.know if you are up for going.
