Road cycling shoes and clipless pedals

  • After size 9 road shoes- have a budget of around £20. Also need a pair of clipless pedals- budget around £10.
    Cheers.

  • What type of cleats are you planning on using?

  • Have some white road shoes, but more of an 8.5, but would fit budget, and I think I have some 105 SPDSL pedals kicking around too. Let me know if you think 8.5 would fit

  • Tbh I'm a complete noob when it comes to clipless- but my understanding was that I was just going to get three bolt cleats that fit the pedals I end up getting.

  • 8.5 is a little small unfortumately. How much would you be after for the 105 pedals?

  • Two types, Shimano and Look. Shimano are easier to get cleats for, but its much of a much ness, as you say, whichever pedals you use you get the cleats for.

Let me have a look when I get home to make sure I can find the pedals!!! And will you need them posted?

  • I've got a pair of sidis (size 43, which I think is about a 9) a tad too small for me, I wear a 9.5/10. Let me know if you'd like to try them.
I've no use for them so (for a small donation to my beer fund) you could walk away with them.

  • That sounds great. Unfortunately I'm not in London atm as it's uni holidays, so up to you whether you can be bothered with the hassle of posting them? I would obviously pay you accordingly, but understandable if you're not up for it.

  • I have a pair of Specialised Fact Carbon Sole Size 9 in very good condition.
Complete with part worn Look Delta Cleats.
Also a pair of compatible Look Delta Pedals. Well used but fully functional.
    £40 (incl. P&P)
