Clean Brooklyn.
I also now have an smp for the Ridley as was having gooch and hand numbness while being on the track, no matter what the bike. Am a convert to ugly saddles.
Haven't got a picture, will take one

I'm going to be selling the mash cx, so if anyone is interested give me a message.
Working out pricing and stuff, selling all the kit to make both the setups above. Will make a thread soon.
-
• #405
Which wheels did you end up building for this setup? hubs? rims?
-
• #406
They are just navigators from Dolan. Work well, just wide enough and fit the 40c tyres fine
-
• #407
Sg75's and an smp.
Still getting used to the saddle.
-
• #408
That mean your omniums are for sale?
-
• #409
Potentially, will let you know

Bike update:
Ridley Sold.
Brooklyn looks like this and is the best bike ever.
Mash has big tyres and risers and is very fun, probably won't sell it.
And Nelson has many seatpost, much stem.

how you finding the trp brakes dude? gonna get the tcp cx 8.4's with sram levers for the brooklyn CX build, hows the clearance on the pads and all round stopping power?
-
• #412
They are really good, easy to set up and have great stopping power. Really strong brakes.
Seemed to work well with the sram levers but you need to wire them up reasonably tight which is easy enough.
Would recommend them.

Brooklyn looks well fun!
-
• #414
Nelson cleeeeaarly too small for you, ;)
looks god
-
• #415
Cheers dude, heard you need to wire them close to the rims to get enough braking power but can be bit annoying if you got a wobble in your wheel, I'm running phils to archetypes so fingers crossed should have similar success as you

Hello Hello
What size is your Nelson?
Merci ! -
• #417
It's the largest one they made, can't remember the exact sizing. Geo is on their site.
-
• #418
Ok so like close to a 60..
MMMMMH dibs when you'll part with it! :) -
• #419
I doubt I will ever sell it, we've been through too much.
But I will add you to the pretty long list ;)

Bro your SRAM cranks what ring are you using, Is it the sram ring? Trying to hunt down the SRAM force cx crankset for the Brooklyn conversion but confused about chains, what chain you running?
-
• #421
If is just a normal road chainring nothing special.
I have it paired with one of the top of the range kmc single speed / track / BMX / whatever chains and a white industries freewheel and it runs beautifully.

Sold the cinelli.
Bought this.
It has a few problems https://www.lfgss.com/comments/13124715/
I am going to strip back those sections and try and find the same colour or just leave it raw not sure.
The gears need sorting, will try to fix myself then when that fails take it to ps.
I would like to make it 1x10 and change the shifters over as they aren't comfortable.
Have already changed the bars out.
Any recommendations of what levers to get and how to make it 1x.
I haven't got a clue :)
