• Looks great Stonehedge, you should be really please with that! Remind me again, was this built from some kind of a kit or did you take a movement, rebuild it and then put it into a case?

  • Bought a movement on Ebay, stripped it down fully including removing the jewels. Cleaned all the parts, reassembled and lubed.

    Bought case, hands, dial from Otto Frei.

    I got the confidence from the level 1 Timezone Watch School course online but there are loads of free guides if you're particularly practical. I think the $75 for the online course was money well spent though because you learn a lot of tips and tricks and get taught exactly how things work.

    ETA also have really good online documentation including which oils to use.
