I would like one of those Squirt Leatherman tools but left it too late. I was going to chuck in my multitool but I'm leaving out spoke tools and screwdrivers went for individual allen keys + small knife to save 150g. I will regret this, no doubt.

Re drive train cleaning- ask to use WD40 and rags at any garage you encounter, far more frequent than bike shops.
Also I would take a set of chain pliers, if you are using master links.
